Small town vs City life

If you are looking for a peaceful home in Canada, then small-town life is the best option. You will enjoy the quietness and less crime rate. Small towns also have better access to nature and friendly people. But there are some problems with small-town life too, like fewer jobs, limited restaurants, material goods, etc.

Small town

  • About Amherstburg is something to be said for the charm of small towns. It’s not as crowded, it’s safer, and it’s more friendly.
  • You’re not going to find a lot of people in a small town who are going to be rude or unkind to you just because they don’t know you. In fact, they may even be surprised that someone wants them to do something at all! Especially if they’re used (as most of us are) to living in cities where everyone seems intent on getting ahead while pushing others out of the way.

Experience of Living in a Small town

Small-town living is a lot more peaceful than living in a big city. You don’t have to worry about the traffic, loud noises, and large crowds. It’s also safer because there are fewer crimes and people tend to be more friendly and helpful. In my opinion, small towns also have better access to nature such as parks, trails, and lakes if that is what you like doing outdoors.

I live in Amherstburg which was once named one of the safest towns in Canada so I feel very safe here and I don’t think I could ever go back to live life in Toronto again!

If anyone wants to move from a big city like Toronto down here just let me know because sometimes people do come up from there looking for something different but end up leaving because they didn’t like it after all haha!

Quiet / Peaceful

When you live in a small town, you can enjoy peace and quiet. There are fewer people around and less noise. There are also less traffic jams and crime.

Less Crime

You might think that a big city is the best place to find a job, but what if everyone else thinks the same thing? The competition for entry-level jobs can be fierce in urban areas, and it’s not uncommon for people without any experience or connections to spend months looking for work.

In a small town, your chances of landing a job are much higher because there are fewer applicants applying for each opening. Not only will you be more likely to get hired quickly in a small town; if you do have an interview scheduled with someone in another city, they may be willing to pay your travel expenses! This means that while living in a larger area might make it easier to find work (if there is any), moving out into the country could actually end up saving you money on transportation costs over time—not mention increase your happiness levels significantly by making them easy on your wallet too!

Friendly People

One of the best things about living in a small town is the high percentage of people who know each other. It’s not uncommon for someone to walk into the bank, grocery store, or coffee shop and be greeted by name by everyone from the cashier to the teller!

People are also more likely to help each other out since they have more time on their hands. In cities, it can feel like you’re always rushing around as if there were a timer counting down until your next appointment or deadline (and there probably is). This isn’t so much an issue when you live in a small town where everyone knows each other and has time for one another. If something goes wrong—a flat tire on your car or even just need some advice on what shirt color looks best—you’ll find yourself surrounded by friendly faces eager to lend a hand.

The friendliness doesn’t stop at actual human interaction either; people are also less likely to be rude because (not unlike how animals often become more docile when taken out of their natural environment) large cities tend to make people more irritable due to overcrowding and constant distractions that pull them away from focusing on other’s needs instead of their own wants – something I’ve definitely experienced me during my time spent living downtown Toronto!

Finally, when you take all these factors together: knowing your neighbors, being able to count them as friends rather than strangers passing through life without knowing why/wherefores about existence itself…this leads us back again full circle where we started: less fear! You no longer need to fear anything because someone else always has your back – literally!”

Better Access to Nature

In small towns, you’re much closer to nature which the city dwellers don’t have. This means that you can do all kinds of things like hiking and camping without having to drive or take public transportation very far. You’ll also see animals out in the wild more often than city-dwellers do—this is especially true if you live near a farm or ranch and there are pets around.

If you want to get away from it all and get some peace of mind away from the hustle and bustle of city life, then small towns are perfect for your needs!

small town has its own charm.

There are a lot of things to love about small-town life. It’s peaceful and friendly and you’ll have better access to nature.

Nice weather, fresh air, and a slower pace of life are some of the perks of living in a smaller community. The crime rate is lower, too. That means you can leave your car unlocked overnight without worrying about someone breaking into it or stealing your belongings inside!

Plus if you like animals and want to help them out by volunteering at an animal shelter or rescue group then chances are there’s one nearby in your small town (that’s not always true for big cities).

cons of small-town life

  • Access to material goods:

Living in the city, you have access to a lot of things that you would not find in a small town. For example, if you need something specific and are unable to find it locally, then there will be no problem for you as you can easily get it online or simply drive 20 minutes to the nearest mall. However, if you live in a small town and still want to get your hands on that same item, then it might become quite difficult unless someone else has already bought it.

  • Different cuisines:

Every culture has its own unique traditions around food which may not be available anywhere else except their country or region. For instance, Indian foods do not taste similar anywhere else as they have their own flavors depending on what spices have been added during cooking time etcetera.*

Limited restaurants:

In big cities like New York City, Toronto for example; there are hundreds of restaurants available ranging from Indian cuisine (such as Punjabi Tadka) Italian food (such as Pizzeria Uno), Asian Cuisine (such as Thai Garden), American Food (like Subway) etcetera – all within walking distance from each other! On the other hand; living somewhere remote could mean having only one restaurant nearby which serves only local dishes due lack availability choices

Conclusion

Small townies are very friendly and kind. We help each other out wherever we can. You might think that living in a small town is boring, but I would disagree with you on this one. There are many things to do in small towns like going fishing, camping or even just sitting by the lake with family members. When it comes down to it though if you want a quiet place where no one bothers you then move away from city life!
